The Asian Student Center (ASC) is a cultural space dedicated to serving Emory’s Asian and Asian American communities.This space serves as an informal gathering place for students, faculty, and alumni to celebrate our distinct cultural heritages and learn about our shared histories and identities. Student led programming focuses on education, community building and awareness of issues that impact all members of the wider Asian diaspora.
This space holds resources for all students of Asian descent and represents Emory Campus Life’s commitment to creating an inclusive, equitable, and safe environment for all members of our diverse community. It is also available for Asian-identifying organizations and students to reserve for programs and events.

2024 APIDA Heritage Month Events
All reservations must be aligned with the mission of the ASC to enrich the experiences of the Asian and Asian American community at Emory, and must promote at least one of the following:
- Education (workshops, lectures, etc.)
- Community Building (networking, general body meetings, recruitment for identity-based Asian-affiliated student groups on/off campus)
- Awareness (film screenings, discussions, etc.)
Reservations for the space must be submitted at least one week prior to the event and must be approved or denied before the space is officially booked. Please note that we reserve the right to alter, amend, and/or cancel reservations based on the nature of events and availability. Organizations approved to reserve the space are responsible for ensuring the space is maintained and respected during their event.

SolidariTEA
SolidariTEA is a discussion group for Emory University students that centers the lived experiences of students of Asian descent. Each semester, the ASC hosts three discussions on varying topics including cultural/ethnic/racial/political identity, activism, and community to generate conversations on allyship and solidarity across our diverse community.
WAVES (collaboration with Center for Women at Emory)
WAVES is a space dedicated to supporting Asian and Asian American-identified women at Emory, hosted by the Asian Student Center (ASC) and Center for Women at Emory (CWE). WAVES aims to provide a safe space for students to explore their identities or to simply be in community with each other, while also sharing resources, programs, and support.
